Client Guidebook
Starting somewhere new comes with a lot of small questions, and this guidebook answers the ones that come up first. We walk you through daily structure, how phone and visitor policies differ by program, working with your case manager, and the ways your family can stay part of your care.
Client Guidebook, The Details
The first week in a new program feels unfamiliar, and knowing what each day actually looks like tends to settle a lot of that. This guidebook walks through how days are structured at Goldwell Institute, so you can picture your loved one's schedule instead of guessing.
A typical day includes:
- Morning check-ins and group sessions
- Individual time with your assigned case manager, who coordinates your care plan and tracks progress
- Skill-building and educational groups in the afternoon
- Quieter evening hours for rest and reflection
Phone and visitor policies are not the same across every program, and they often change as clients move through different stages of care. We go over the current rules with each client and family during admission, so nobody is caught off guard.
Families stay involved in real ways. We share updates within what each client agrees to, invite loved ones into scheduled family sessions, and answer your questions along the way. Your case manager is the person to reach when you need clarity. We are glad to have you as part of the process.
