Packing List for Treatment
Getting ready for arrival day is easier when you know what to pack. Bring comfortable clothing you can move and rest in, a photo ID and your insurance cards, and any prescriptions in their original bottles. Leave valuables and anything unopened at home. We will help you settle in once you're here.
Packing List for Treatment, The Details
Getting ready for the first day at Goldwell Institute often means staring at an open suitcase, unsure what actually belongs inside. We put this list together so you can pack in an afternoon and spend your energy on the parts that matter more.
Bring the practical things that make the first week smoother:
- Comfortable, easy clothing for about a week (we have laundry, so you do not need much)
- Your photo ID and insurance card
- Any current prescriptions in their original labeled bottles
- A small amount of cash for vending or incidentals
- A phone number list in case your phone is stored during intake
Some things are better left at home:
- Alcohol, mouthwash, or anything containing it
- Valuables and expensive jewelry
- Outside food or drinks
- Weapons or sharp objects
If you are packing for someone you love, keep it simple. We would rather you forget an item and let us sort it out on arrival than lose sleep over the details. When you get here, our team walks you through everything step by step.
